About Students Life

MAMS offers a vibrant and dynamic campus life, blending a calm yet lively atmosphere. The campus is equipped with futuristic infrastructure, including a Medical College and Hospital, a Central Library, an Auditorium, and residential facilities. The best way to immerse yourself in the community is to engage actively. The hospitality and sense of community here provide students with valuable opportunities and exposure.

The diverse and experienced faculty and staff contribute to multiple opportunities for students to enrich their talents and shape their future. Through internships and training programs within the college and hospital, students gain real-world experience that enhances their education. MAMS encourages students to pursue their hobbies and passions alongside academics, with adequate support and guidance for their well-being on campus.

Hostel life at MAMS is comfortable, with separate accommodations for boys and girls, all located within the campus. The hostel is equipped with essential amenities such as a gym, laundry facilities, and both synthetic and natural playgrounds. Living on campus provides students with a “home away from home” experience. The residential life here adds an invaluable dimension to academic learning, combining both living and learning as key elements of the overall student experience.

The college offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses, supported by a dedicated and passionate teaching faculty. The state-of-the-art infrastructure and modern equipment complement the institution’s teaching methods. Students are encouraged to pursue research opportunities, and many have earned prestigious ICMR-STS scholarships for their efforts.

For students living away from home, the well-furnished and air-conditioned hostel rooms provide a comfortable environment. The spacious canteen serves a variety of hygienic, wholesome meals, and the lively cafeteria is a favorite student hangout for exchanging ideas, building friendships, and enjoying snacks and coffee.

Becoming an excellent doctor involves more than just academics—it requires holistic development. MAMS encourages students to express their creativity through various arts and cultural activities. The annual cultural fest is a major highlight. Additionally, students with an interest in sports receive guidance from our Physical Director and our teams have won numerous accolades in sports at various levels.

Mentorship Program

Starting the MBBS course after completing their 12th standard can be a significant transition, and many students find the rigorous course challenging. To support students, MAMS offers a mentorship program. Each student is assigned a mentor from the teaching faculty, who provides guidance and support in both academic and non-academic aspects of their journey. The mentor conducts regular one-on-one meetings with the student to ensure a smoother and more comfortable experience throughout the course.

Beyond Academics

At MAMS, it’s not just about studies. In addition to academics, there are many recreational activities, sports facilities, and cultural societies that provide students with the opportunity to develop and showcase their talents. These extracurricular activities help students balance their academic life with personal growth and creativity

Student Discipline

Discipline is a cornerstone for the success of any institution, and even more so for medical colleges where students are entrusted with the care of patients. At MAMS, we firmly believe that discipline is essential for academic and professional excellence. Students are expected to uphold strict discipline both on and off-campus to ensure a conducive learning and caring environment.

Zero Tolerance for Misconduct:

Any student found guilty of ragging (physical or mental harassment) or bullying will face immediate expulsion and may be handed over to the authorities, depending on the severity of the offense.
Eve-teasing will not be tolerated, and offenders will be expelled immediately.
Smoking and drinking are strictly prohibited on campus and in the hostel.

Compassion and patience should be demonstrated while interacting with patients.

Students must contribute to maintaining an eco-friendly campus by conserving energy, such as turning off fans and lights when not in use.
